The 7th Annual Walpole Little League Fall Baseball League registration is available . The 5 week program offers 1 practice and 1 game per week.
8-9 year old league
10-11 year old league
Coaches: Chris Costello and Billy O’Connell
Thursdays 9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2 5pm-8pm ( your team will have a 1 hour practice)
Saturdays 9/6, 9/13, 9/20, 9/27, 10/4 9am-1pm ( your team will have a 1 hour and a half game)
$225 per player/ $400 for two family members

Extra Bases Baseball Clinic is a youth baseball clinic specifically designed for the development of Braintree and Walpole Little League players between the ages of 8-12. The Extra Bases Summer Baseball Clinic prides itself on offering a quality instructional practice.

Bill O’Connell, a Walpole resident, Head Baseball Coach at Braintree High School, and his staff will be conducting their annual (26th year in Walpole and 19th year in Braintree) Little League clinics this coming summer. O’Connell was a 3 sport athlete at Walpole High and then continued his education at the New Hampton School and Springfield College where he was also a 3 sport athlete. He also played for the Chatham A’s in the Cape Cod Baseball League.

Clinic Staff
Adult supervision and coaching will be the trademark of this program. Our coaching staff is selected to ensure the highest quality of instruction. Our staff is made up of former professional and college baseball players as well has current high school coaches from Braintree and Walpole high school.
Clinic Information

Daily, individual skills instruction include: throwing and catching, ground ball techniques, batting lectures and drills, pitching, outfield, catching and middle infield stations, rundown execution, proper base running and slide drills.
Each day will provide a lunch break and a special event period competing for daily baseball-related prizes. The snack shack will be open for food purchase during the lunch break. The last hour of each day will conclude with an organized game.
Junior Weeks 2025 canceled
Our junior program is geared toward players ages 7-8. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game from our experienced staff who combine both instruction and fun to help players understand the game better as well as grow a passion for the game in a “camp” environment. Monday through Thursday from 9am-11:30am.
Each day players will participate in drills to develop the individual baseball skills as well as play a live coach pitch game.
Injury and Incident reports shall be completed for a fatality, serious injury/incident, or medication administration error. An electronic copy will be sent to the MA Department of Public Health and the local Board of Health
Medical log is readily available, signed by authorized staff and includes all health complaints, treatments, and medication errors.

Extra Bases Baseball Clinic maintains all records for campers, staff and volunteers for a minimum of 3 years. Records are properly destroyed after the retention period.
Parents are able to request copies of background checks, heath care and discipline policies as well as procedures for filing grievances (section 430. 190 D)
